CourtCount ("we", "us") builds a scorekeeping app for racket sports. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because privacy shouldn't need a law degree.
We collect only what the app needs to work:
You can use CourtCount to keep score without an account. In that case, matches stay on your device only.
We use your information to run and sync your matches, keep your history and stats, provide support, and improve the app. We do notsell your personal data, and we don't use your match data for advertising.
We share data only with service providers who help us operate — cloud hosting and analytics — under strict confidentiality, and when required by law. Result cards you choose to share are shared by you, on your terms.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data and match history within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account, or by deleting your account on our account deletion page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
CourtCount is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, and limit access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll post the new date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
